Alice Nellie Saunders

April 30, 1932 — May 3, 2019

Alice Nellie Saunders died on May 3, 2019 at the age of 87 surrounded by Family and Friends that loved her very much.


Alice Saunders was born in Seattle Washington, her parents were John and Alice Helman. The family moved from Seattle to Ashland, Oregon then to Medford.


She married Lee Saunders on November 30, 1951, they had four children, two sons and two daughters. Alice also has 9 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren, who she loved so very much and was a big part of there lives. She love going and watching all of the Grandchildren sporting events and as long as she could some of the Great Grandchildren events.


She is preceded in death by her son Danny Saunders, three brothers Tom Helman, Jack Helman, Charles Helman and two sisters, Ann Brown and Marge Cummings.
She is survived by her Husband Lee Saunders, Brother John Helman, Daughter and Husband Debby & Tom Carr, Daughter & Husband, Becky & Alan Pickrel and Son & Wife Frank & Sue Saunders.


She worked at Pinnacle in the office and Bear Creek Corp in the data processing department. Alice also worked along side her husband as Pastors of Covenant Life Ministries.


Alice pride and joy was her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and she was so proud to be the wife to Lee. Our Mom loved our Dad and their love for each other was an outstanding example to their family, church family and friends. Alice was loved by those around her and will be greatly missed.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held on
June 8, 2019 at 11AM
