Angeline Bucaro Juhl, 87 year old Phoenix, OR. resident, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Lake Shastina.
Angeline was born October 9, 1933 in Chicago, Ill to Joseph and Angeline Bucaro, immigrants from Italy. She grew up in the Franklin Park area of Chicago and attended Lyden High School.
She married James A. Juhl on June 14, 1952 in Franklin Park and the couple had six children. They moved to Siskiyou County in 1978 from San Diego. Angeline worked for 21 years for the Calif. Conservation Corps in Montague where she was a cook and a supervisor.
Angeline was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Yreka, St. Joseph’s Ladies Auxiliary in Yreka and Sons of Italy in Weed. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James, in 2011. She is survived by her six children, Jayne Garland of Central Point, Ore., James Juhl, also of Central Point, Jeri Reno of Medford, Ore., Joann Kaufmann of Lake Shastina, Joyce Marks of Eagle Point, Ore. and John Juhl, also of Lake Shastina; her sister, Virginia Ott of Lemon Grove; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford. There is a potential Facebook Live posting of the funeral mass on Joyce Mark’s Facebook.
