Beverley Jean Looney was born on March 14, 1935, in Eugene, Oregon to Lester Newby and Corrine Yorton. She passed away in Medford, Oregon on March 19, 2023.
She graduated high school in Eugene, Oregon and went on to study science at Southern Oregon State College (now Southern Oregon University), obtaining her bachelors degree. Beverley worked 20 years for Avon and was a painter of landscapes when she was younger. She was enthusiastic about traveling, camping, cooking and loved to sing. She was also a faithful member of Central Neighborhood Church.
In 1955 she married her first husband, Kenneth Flint in California and later was divorced. In 1971 she married Harold Looney in Springfield, Oregon. He preceded her in death June 11, 1987.
Beverley is survived by Karrie Velasquez of Medford, Oregon, Kristine Lansdown of Central Point, Oregon, Kevin Flint of Phoenix, Oregon, Melissa Kincaid of Mesquite, Nevada, Michelle Mollett of Medford, Oregon, her sister Sam Epperson of Salem, Oregon, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
