Bobby Gene Kellum, known affectionately as Bob to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Medford, Oregon, at the age of 88. Born on August 30, 1937, in Millerton, Oklahoma, Bob was a man of great character, known for his generosity, kindness, and gentle spirit.
Bob proudly served his country as an Army veteran before embarking on a long and rewarding career as a truck driver, a profession he dedicated himself to for 40 years. His love for the open road was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. Bob was a devoted husband to his late wife, Jeanne M. Kellum, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Together, they raised a family of four children: sons David, Kerry, and Edward, and daughter Deborah. Bob was a cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
Bob's legacy is one of unwavering love and steadfast commitment to those he held dear. His gentle demeanor and generous nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was a pillar of strength and a source of wisdom, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.
As we bid farewell to Bob, we celebrate a life well-lived and a journey well-traveled. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Bob's memory will continue to inspire and guide us. Though he has left this earthly realm, his spirit remains a beacon of light in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, dear Bob, dad and grandpa, until we meet again.
