Catherine (Katy) Paradis has passed from this life to heaven and is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She died on December 10, 2019, in Medford, Oregon, on the 7 th anniversary of her husbands death. Katy was born in Flint, Michigan on March 10, 1928, to Byron Nelson Bowdish and Mary Brady Bowdish. She married Arnold Wade Paradis on February 18, 1950. Arnold and Katy raised eight children and owned and operated a trucking business. Katy was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She provided a warm and caring home for her family. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and anytime her large family was able to get together. She is survived by her children, Mary Mahar (Mike), Michele Esparza (Stuart Ervin), Patricia Paradis (Rick Ritter), Michael Paradis (Cheri), Gary Paradis, David Paradis (Mary), Col. Laura Paradis (Steve), and Lisa Paradis, 20 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford, Oregon, Father Ken Sampson officiating. The Family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Katys honor to Magdalene Home, Saint Vincent de Paul or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
