Charles was married to his beloved wife, Jodi Bedford, who stood by his side through all of life's ups and downs. He is survived by her, along with his children Marc and Jana, stepchildren Julie, Ciera and Jeremy, all of his grand children as well as his siblings Deanna, Lori, and Jille.

Charles spent over 20 years as a semi wrecker driver at Debco Towing, the family business that was a major part of his life. He was incredibly dedicated to the job hardworking, reliable, and always willing to take the tough calls. It wasn't just work to him; it was where he felt in his element.

He was a straight shooter, not one to sugarcoat things, and he kept a tough exterior. But those who knew him best understood that underneath that was a man who cared deeply especially for his family. His love didn't always come with big words or gestures, but it showed up in the way he provided, protected, and showed up when it counted.

Charles loved the outdoors and spent as much time outside as he could. Whether he was working on something or just enjoying the quiet, being outside brought him peace. He also had a real bond with his dogs, a deep appreciation for a good home cooked meal, and a sharp sense of humor that stuck around to the very end.

He'll be remembered for his grit, his loyalty, and the unique way he showed love quiet but steady, and always real."
