Daniel Gilbert Bashore, a beloved

husband, father, grandfather, brother and

friend, went home to be with his beloved

maker September 25, 2026 at his home in

Prospect, Oregon.

Dan grew up around the bay area of

California, being born in Redwood City on

January 24, 1964. After being shot in

Hayward by a vehicle thief, the family

decided to move to Oregon where Dan

met his wife, Annie, of 42 years. They

enjoyed horseback riding, camping

hunting and fishing.

He would never claim to be a “bible

thumper”, but he had a genuine concern

for everyone’s salvation, often quoting

John 14:6.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Annie, two

daughters, Lindsey (James) Smith and

Mindy (Matthew) Neiffer, three

granddaughters, Zoey, Tori, and Sydney

Smith, siblings Michael (Jamie) Bashore,

David (Dawn) Bashore and Claudia

(Robert) Hyde.
