Daniel Leon Sands, 59, of Eagle Point Oregon, passed away on October 25, 2018. The funeral service will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery on Monday November 5, 2018 at 11:00 am. Dan graduated from Eagle Point High School 1977. He then went on to have a 20 year naval career, followed by over a decade of service at the Medford Post Office. Dan is survived by 3 children, 9 grandchildren, parents Bonnie and Cliff of Eagle Point Oregon. 2 sisters, 2 nephews and 1 niece, and other family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Southern Oregon Humane Society.
