Perl Funeral Home & Siskiyou Memorial Park
3:30 - 4:30 pm (Pacific time)
Ross passed away peacefully at his home in Medford, Oregon, surrounded by his beloved Judy of 25 years, his dog Brynley, and his daughters.
He was born in Monterey, California, to Max and Lila Burd. Ross moved to Oregon early in life and attended the Central Point school district where he graduated from Crater High School. He was a talented athlete, loved music and dancing.
In his earlier years he enjoyed water skiing, go-Kart racing, bowling, and golfing.
He worked as a truck driver for United Grocers and cherished many memories and friendships from his driving career.
He loved the outdoors, enjoyed building throughout his life, and in his later years took pleasure in making “Burd” houses. Ross was a pillar of strength and support to those who knew him. He loved all his animals, and they were a big part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Lila, his sisters, Patty Ann Burd, Kay Morse and his cousin Terry Page.
Ross is survived by his life partner Judy Jubera; his sister Debra Herring (Lance); brother in law Bill Morse; his daughters, Carman Del Pizzo, Tracy Smith (Mike), Neisha Warner (Darrell); his son Tim Snopl, and his loyal fur baby Brynley.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and bonus grandchildren from Judy, all of whom he loved and enjoyed greatly.
Services will be held at Perl Funeral Chapel at 2100 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, OR 97504
