Elizabeth DiBello, age 85, passed away peacefully on January 4 at her home in Medford, Oregon. She lost her fight with Pulmonary Fibrosis, after a valiant 7-year struggle. Born and raised on Staten Island, Betty has resided in Medford for the past 18 years.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Andrew, her two sons, Phillip DiBello and his wife Debra Fergus, and Anthony DiBello and his wife Julie; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Carmen Delpriore and his wife Alma of Sun Lakes, AZ, her sister, Josephine Delpriore of Brick, NJ, and her beloved German Shepherd, Coco.
Betty was an active communicant of Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point. She had a deep love and devotion to the Blessed Mother and her Catholic Faith, praying the rosary daily, and watching on-line Catholic Masses. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows, playing Candy Crush on her tablet, bowling, and crocheting.
Betty worked for years in Banking and at Pathmark, before her retirement.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 10 at 9am at Shepherd of The Valley Catholic Church, 600 Beebe Road, Central Point.
