Emily Lynn Reber, a college student and resident of Oakridge, OR, died unexpectedly in an automobile accident while driving to work on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the age of 23.
Emily is survived by her parents; Kyle and Sonja Reber, her siblings; Brittany McPhee (Paul), Austin Reber (Brita) and Tanner Reber, her nephews; Mathis McPhee, Micah McPhee and Odin Reber, her grandparents; Thomas and Shirley Burnham and Dennis and Lynn Reber, and her loving partner Anthony Sparks.
Emily was born in Roseburg, OR on November 18,1996 to Kyle and Sonja Reber. She graduated from Roseburg High School and attended college at Brigham Young University in Idaho. After completing several years of college in the field of Healthcare Administration, she took a job at Oregon Lung Specialists in Springfield, Oregon. She ultimately decided to pursue a career as a dental hygienist and was enrolled to begin classes this fall.
Emily was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed country music, photography, holidays (especially Christmas), baking, watching movies, cold weather and spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She dreamed of traveling internationally but sincerely enjoyed exploring her local areas. She loved the beach, country music concerts and was always up for an adventure. She had an old soul and a kind spirit. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on September 19 at the Perl Funeral Home on Siskiyou Blvd. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 3723 Calle Vista Dr. Medford, OR 97504
