Helen Loretta Grigsby left us on August 9, 2024. She lived at Horton Plaza in Medford and passed quietly in her sleep. She graduated from Medford Senior High School where she played drums in the marching band. She was preceded in death by Richard Grigsby her husband of 41 years. She is survived by her four children, Daniel Grigsby, Shirley Blanchard, Cathy Worthy and Robyn Coady. Helen thoroughly loved and enjoyed the activities of her four children, her 9 grand children and 12 great grandchildren and she was always ready to share their adventures and accomplishments in great detail and pride with anyone who would listen.

After spending 22 years in the Air Force, Helen and Dick retired to Oregon where they were very active in Square Dancing and Bowling Leagues. Helen was very skilled at embroidery and loved making special gifts for friends and family.

The last 9 years Helen has collected quite an army of singing and dancing stuffed animals which she enthusiastically shared with everyone! She loved life, loved making people smile or even laugh. She was an outgoing woman who made friends easily.

She had three life-long friends Charlotte Wiley, Helen Dunn and Lorain (Tade) Russell. Helen was a jovial force to be sure and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure for us to cherish always.
