Helen passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022 at age 93.  She was born November 13, 1928 in Sedalia, Missouri to Michael Joseph Donahoe and Marie Alice Janssen Donahoe.  Her family moved to Medford, Oregon in 1946 where she met the love of her life, Louis John Rentz (Jack).  They were married in 1947.

Helen worked at Cal-Pac utilities before becoming a full-time mother and home-maker.  In 1966, when her children were all in school, she became a real estate broker and held many offices with local and state organizations and received numerous rewards.  She was most proud of receiving Realtor of the Year Award for a six way exchange she master minded.  She was administrator/broker of three real estate offices, two in Medford and one in Shady Cove.  As a volunteer, she served on the J.C. Board of Equalization for four years.  She also volunteered for numerous years in the gift shop at Providence Hospital.  She and Jack enjoyed traveling aroundthe world together.  She enjoyed golf, salmon fishing, gardening, and sipping lattes with her dear dear sister and neighbor, Marje Nave.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish since she moved to Medford in 1946 and an active member of Catholic Daughters for 54 years.  Her favorite activity was the annual family gatherings at Lake of the Woods.

Most important to Helen was her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 2020.  She is survived by daughters Kathy Harp (Gene) and Linda Beskow (Larry), sons John and Jim (Kristine), 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Jack and Helen were married for 72 years.

Helen requested that memorial contributions be made to her favorite charity:

A Celebration of Lif Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, October 18, at 10:00am.  Helen will be buried next to Jack at Eagle Point National Cemetary.
