Howard Roy Moggo, 74, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 24, 2022.
He was born in Grayling Michigan to Howard and Betty Moggo. He was the apple of his father’s eye.
Howard spent most of his life working as an engineer on fishing boats in the waters of Alaska. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and exploring the mountains of Oregon where he lived. Howard loved watching the Detroit Lions lose each week and telling tall tales over a beer with friends.
He married the love of his life Frances Bennett Moggo September 14, 1996 whom survives.
He is also survived by his daughters Jennifer (Jeff) Baynton of Grawn, Michigan, Melissa Kaikkonen of Bellaire, Michigan, step children Karyn (Tom) Gomes of Hayward, California and Cory Patton of Tucson, Arizona. 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Howard was the eldest Of 9 children. David ( Carol) Moggo of Fredric, Michigan, Nancy (Bob) Cinceila of Fredric, Michigan, Linda (Roy) Jenkins of Cookesville, Tennessee, Steven (Debbie) Moggo of Cookesville, Tennessee, Julie (Dan) McCullough of Higgens Lake, Michigan, Doug (Chris) Moggo of Grayling, Michigan, Ronald Moggo of Grayling, Michigan and John (Heather) Moggo of Grayling, Michigan.
Howard was preceded in death by both his parents, sister-in-law Angie Moggo and step-daughter Robyn Patton.
