Obituary

In the quiet town of Chamberlain's fold, in 1934, a story untold, Began with Jeanne Mae Kellum's first breath, a life now marked by her gentle death. She graced the world on a December day, and in Medford's arms, she slipped away. Her journey spanned from '34 to '24, with love and laughter in her store. Jeanne, as known to friends so dear, lived a life of joy, year to year. In Oregon's charm, she found her mate, with Bob Kellum, she found a state Of endless bliss for fifty-nine, a testament to love's design. Three sons, David, Kerry, Edward, too, and daughter Deborah, their lives she knew. Seven grandkids, six great-grandbabes, in their hearts, her memory stays. Through every stitch and sewn seam, in every shared and whispered dream. A Bachelor's in Psychology she earned, from Southern Oregon, knowledge yearned. At Access and in real estate, she toiled, but family's love was never soiled. A mother, grandmother, above the rest, in these roles, Jeanne was the best. Lifelong learning, a passion so bright, sewing and poetry filled her nights. Conversations long, with loved ones held, in these moments, her heart swelled. Traveling with family, friends in tow, Jeanne's love continued to grow. Loving, selfless, generous in life, through joy and inevitable strife. Her legacy, like a quilt, she leaves, woven with the love she weaves. Jeanne Mae Kellum, a name that rings, with the peace and love a true heart brings. In every line of poetry penned, her spirit's embrace, it never ends. For in our hearts, her memory sings, with the softness of angel wings. A life lived full, a heart so grand, Jeanne leaves her mark upon the land. So let us speak with joy, not sorrow, for Jeanne Mae Kellum's bright tomorrow. In memories, she'll dance and twirl, forever Jeanne, our precious pearl. Her story lives in the love she gave, a life so rich, so full, so brave.
