Jerry Dees passed away July 29, 2024, in Medford, OR with his family at his side.

Jerry was born June 06,1939 in Oceanside, California. to Leslie and Leila Dees. He has a sister Esther and a brother

William (Bill).

He graduated from Surprise Valley Union High School in Cedarville, California in 1957.Jerry met Doris Ditty in Sacramento, California in 1958 - they married in May, 1962.They had two daughters, Kristine Elizabeth and Kerry Nicole.

Jerry worked hard his whole life and was very good at fixing just about anything – a trait he taught to his family and

friends. He owned Crescent View Barber Shop in Stateline, California in the mid 60's. Since it was so close to the casinos

in Lake Tahoe, he would often cut the hair of the entertainers, including Liberace and Sammy Davis Jr.! Doris and Jerry

watched many dinner shows and saw several of the greats. He worked for Dust-Tex in Sacramento in the 70's, then moved

his family to Oregon in 1973 and worked for American Linen. He also owned Dees Trucking in White City, Oregon and

retired from American Linen in Medford Oregon.

Jerry loved to camp, fish, hunt, spend time in the mountains & at the ocean with his family (especially his grandchildren)

and friends. He loved old-time county music. He would stop anywhere along the side of the road to rescue a lost tool or

gadget that he could put it to use one day.

Jerry was a man of faith often sharing that he had read the bible from beginning to end. He felt nature was his church and

where he felt closest to God.

Jerry was survived by Doris Dees, his daughter Kristine (Tyler) Kopta and his daughter Kerry (Perry)Smith, his

grandchildren Trenton Kopta (India), Christian Morris, Samuel Kopta, Zachary Morris, Devan (Tom) Ferrell and Parker

Morris. He had 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Leslie, stepmother Maggie Dees, his mother Leila, stepfather Ed Hill, & his

brother Bill Dees.
