Joshua Francis Wood, age 47, of Medford, Oregon left this world on March 27, 2023. He was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts (MA) on August 6th, 1975 and lived in Leicester, MA before moving to Oregon when he was 3 years old. Josh loved working in the forest, cutting wood and doing forestry work, when he could and he was an artist and musician when he couldnt. He enjoyed listening to Bob Marley music and being with friends and family. Josh was well loved for his patience, kindness, wisdom, and generosity. Always there for those whom he loved...who was most everyone he met. Josh was diagnosed with kidney disease when he was 9 years old. It was a long hard battle which he bore without complaint. We now know that he is in a better place. He leaves behind his mother Barbara Wood (Wilson) of Jacksonville, OR who cared for him for many years and his sister Shiloh Wood also of Jacksonville, OR and her 2 sons Cody and Owen Jenson. As well as his father, Michael Wood of Leicester, MA. and his sister Elizabeth Beford and Mike(y) Wood. Joshua Wood was a 10th generation Mayflower descendant. In lieu of flowers Josh would love it if everyone who reads this would go outside and stand on the earth and offer a prayer and a blessing. Josh truly loved the world he lived in, the people in his life and the earth beneath our feet. His one desire was for all of us to get along with one another and be happy.
