Larry Douglas Pickell

February 27, 1947 - March 9, 2026

Larry Douglas Pickell, an artist, broker, and collector, passed away on March 9, 2026. He was born February 27, 1947, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford, Oregon.

Larry attended St. Mary's school in Medford where he completed grades one through 12, and later attended college. He spent many years working as a real estate broker in the Medford area before turning his attention to one of his lifelong passions-collecting antiques and unique treasures.

Music was also a central part of Larry's life. In high school he started a band called, "The Dynamics" and the group performed at many school dances and local events. Larry continued playing music throughout his life, enjoying both the guitar and piano. He especially love the informal jam sessions with family and friends.

Larry was the son of Douglas and Ruth Pickell. He is survived by his sister Linda; his brothers; Keith and Gary; his sister-in-law, Sherry; and his nephews, Doug, Kelly, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy.

Larry will be laid to rest by Perl Funeral Home at Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford, Oregon on March 19th at 1:00 PM

He will be remembered for his love of music, his appreciation for art and antiques, and the many friendships he built throughout his life.
