Mr Ostmo was first my 8th grade home room teacher and the best math teacher ever. My family got to know both Mr and Mrs Ostmo in the community, then my mom later also had a home in the same retirement community that they did in Yuma! How fun to see them there! Always that huge smile and so full of joy. Makes me still smile when I hear his name. Sincere condolences to his sons and family.

Mr. Ostmo was a great math teacher! He helped make the "light bulb" come on for me with Algebra, then Geometry. I was so glad I got to tell him that at my 50th high school reunion last August. He was always fair and helpful and had some funny in him!
