Mark was also loved by so many friends and he will be missed beyond measure.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Leonard Malcolm Settell, mother Rosella Jenny (Snyder) Settell/Drake and brother Michael Settell. Mark will be laid to rest at home in Medford, Oregon at Siskiyou Memorial Park with his father and brother, Mike.

He attended Crater High School and has kept in touch with many of his childhood friends. Mark's heart is in Oregon where he shared so many happy memories growing up around the Rogue River. Mark worked at Cascade Wood mill where his father had worked when the boys were young.
Mark opened several mortgage brokerages and built a strong reputation as an honest businessman and a personable boss. Mark ended up in Scottsdale , Arizona 20 years ago and continued to model the highest integrity as a mortgage broker and for the last 10 years as a Fleet Sales manager at Right Toyota. Mark built his customer base by earning trust, taking personal interest in his clients and sharing his life and love of his family. Mark's genuine personality was apparent to people even the first time they met and he instantly felt like a friend. He was very hard working and took pride in his work.
Mark and Lynn have the sweetest love story and it didn't take long to realize a bright future together. They were married July 11, 2008 on the island of St Lucia. Mark's dream of becoming a father came true on February 17, 2010 when Chloe Rosella was born. Mark's family was perfectly complete with the birth of Alexander E. Malcolm, on February 16, 2013. Both bear the names of his parents, in loving memory. This is just one example of his love of family. He was the most loving man and made sure to share his love every single day in so many ways. His mother had such an impact on his life and he grew into a big-hearted, loving man through her influence. She taught him so much about how to be a caring father long before his children were born. She knew in her heart what his future would bring.
Mark loved to go camping and dreamed of buying a motor home and visiting every national park in the United States. He always shared the happy memories of camping adventures as a kid. Mark loved tending to his garden and shared the excitement of sprouting vegetables with Chloe and Alexander. His backyard was his sanctuary, where he created a small paradise for relaxing, grilling and smoking meat, playing games with the kids and appreciating beautiful desert sunsets. Mark planted four rose bushes for each of us and for the two kids outside of the dining room window in memory of his mother. The placement was very intentional so he could see them everyday. Mark also love sports, especially watching the Cardinals football games and tailgating. He was always the griller and looked forward to every game spent with friends and family.
