Marsha Ann Duffield

January 8, 1950 — March 15, 2023

Medford, Oregon

Marsha Duffield was born in Ashland, Oregon where she lived until she was 17. Her senior year of high school she moved to Long Beach, California where she met the man that would later become her husband, James Duffield. Marsha and James met at an Angels baseball game where they found that they went to the same high school and found that they were only six people apart from one another in their class photo. Seven years later they found themselves placed in each other’s lives again, this time as neighbors in California. In 1977 she married her best friend and became Mrs. Duffield. In 1980 they moved to Hillsboro, Oregon to raise their children. In 2004 they moved to the Rogue Valley where they put their roots down.

Marsha loved shopping for clothes and jewelry and going out to dinner with her beloved husband. They frequented The Ram, Marsha’s favorite restaurant, for their great food and the camaraderie they built with the staff. She was a collector of music boxes and had a treasured hand carved wood arch with 50-60 animals on it. It was one her most prized possessions that she was very proud of. Marsha was also a lover of RV camping, two of her favorite spots to go were Cape Look Out and Fort Stevens in Oregon.

Marsha loved her animals, her three dogs that were part of her family. She had a Golden Retriever names Georgia that was part of the family for 15 years, a black lab named Maggie that was part of the family for 10 years, and a Yellow Lab, Camie, they had rescued a year ago that she loved to watch play in the water.

Marsha shared Camie’s love for the water and enjoyed lounging in her pool, being served dinner by her loving husband James. Marsha loved beautiful things, from her animals to her arch and even her favorite flowers, Stargazer Lilies but that did not deter her from her interest in darker true crime and murder mystery television shows.
