IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary E.
Wojack
November 11, 1936 – July 26, 2024
Mary Elizabeth Wojack, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Medford, Oregon, at the age of 87.
Born on November 11, 1936, in Seattle, Washington, Mary graduated from high school in Jacksonville, Oregon. Her path intertwined with Jerome Wojack's when they met on a blind date on his birthday in 1964. Their love blossomed, and they were married on July 24, 1965, celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they worked side by side at the Tiller Ranger Station in Oregon, where Mary embraced her role as a forester's wife, balancing work and family life in their small one-bedroom home shared with their son, Michael.
Mary's professional journey included a role as a secretary for the Medford School District and over 30 years as an Avon representative. Her dedication to her family and community was evident in all she did.
Mary leaves behind her devoted husband, Jerome Wojack; son, Michael Wojack and daughter-in-law, Tammy Wojack; daughter, Jody Carter; granddaughters Jennifer Wojack, Sarah Carter, and Alicia Dickinson; and grandson Samuel Carter. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Teresa, who passed away in 1976 at the age of 5, as well as her mother Elizabeth Schultz, father Charlie Schultz, and sisters Charlotte Schultz and Shirley Guches.
A Mass in Mary's honor will be held at Shepard of the Valley Catholic Church on August 22, 2024, at 2 p.m., followed by a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hearts with a Mission, 711 Medford Center #344, Medford, OR, 97504, in Mary's memory.
Mary's warmth, kindness, and enduring spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and compassion will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
