Myrna Ann Ford Claflin was born on December 8, 1933 in South Dakota to Mabel and Hugo Ford and passed away at her home on September 28, 2024, she was 90 years old.

At a young age the Ford family relocated to Medford, Oregon where Myrna attended school and graduated from St. Mary's school in Medford. She married Lee C. Claflin of Phoenix, Oregon and together they had three sons.

Myrna was a working mother providing for her family in the local healthcare community at various doctor's offices in the Rogue Valley. She was very active with the Babe Ruth league baseball teams while her sons were growing up and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Myrna was the last surviving member of the Class of 1952 of St. Mary's School and the Claflin wives club.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Hugo (Doris) Ford of Salem OR, Edward (Pat) Ford of Medford, a sister Wilma (Jack) Hart, & life partners, Lee Claflin and Ted Jantzer.

Myrna is survived by her three sons, Tim Claflin, Medford, Chris Claflin, Coquille, OR, Matt (Roseann) Claflin, Silverton, OR and two grandsons, Nick Claflin of Silverton, OR & Taylor Claflin of North Bend, OR.

There is a graveside service planned for Friday, October 11th, at 1:00 pm at Perl funeral Home & Siskiyou Memorial Park Cemetery. All who knew Myrna are welcome to attend.
