The world lost a beloved mother & friend, Phyllis Elaine Stewart left this earthly realm on November 22 2021, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. She was 75 years old.
It would be wrong to say that Phyllis lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Phyllis stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Phyllis. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.
No matter how difficult life could become, she pushed thru and still found ways to laugh and bring smiles to others. She adored her girls and her family. She was such an example of tenacity and determination. She was devoted to those whom she loved. Phyllis loved the Lord and she sought to live out her calling. She encouraged others, prayed for them. She found ways to give comfort to their heavy hearts. She ministered the Lord’s joy to them. Phyllis changed lives.
For all of those who knew her, she left an indelible and beautiful mark on their hearts.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters Phyllis Stauffer (Kurt Stauffer) & Tria Chisholm, grandsons Alex Davis and Scott Holland Jr.. Her sisters Joanne & Bernice, many loving nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Toni and both her parents, her sister Pat & brother Benny
She leaves behind many loving friends, as she never met a stranger.
