Ronald Edmund Hubbard Passed away April 11, 2023. Born in Oakland California March 10, 1927 to Gustave Edmund Hubbard and Anne Ferrari Hubbard. Ron graduated from Piedmont High School, he was a standout in football and track. Ron went to Berkley University where he played football and graduated with a degree in psychology. Ron joined the Merchant Marines and was honorably discharged May, 1952. Ron married Margaret (Peggy) Barret and had 2 sons, Christopher and David. Ron worked for Richfield Oil Company and Maritz, Inc. He lived in San Francisco, CA, Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee, WI and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He retired from Maritz, Inc. in 1982 and moved to Ashland Oregon. Peggy passed away in 1986.

Ron married Sherry Hawk August 12, 1989, they moved to Medford Oregon in 2001 where he resided until his death.

Ron had 2 sons, 2 grandsons, 1 great grand-son, 1 step daughter, 1 step-son, 4 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

Throughout his life Ron enjoyed time with family, his pets and friends, fly fishing, sailing, traveling and horseback riding. He was an avid reader and continued his education with online classes studying history, religion, physics, art, and philosophy.

He was preceded in death by his father Gustave Hubbard, mother Anne Hubbard, wife Margaret (Peggy) Hubbard and son David Hubbard. A private memorial was held July 15, 2023.
