Salvador Rodriguez Velasco, of El Caracol, Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away on January 19, 2021 in Medford, Oregon. Salvador was born in El Caracol to Casimiro and Maria Cruz Velasco on June 1, 1951. He was a loving and faithful son, who worked hard taking care of his fathers animals on the ranch, until he came to the United States as a 19 year old. Just as he did in his younger years, he worked hard and for long hours to earn enough money to take care of his father and sisters still living in Mexico as well as the young family he had started in the United States. He had two sons, Tom and Mark, early in his 20s, and was a devoted and loving father, who provided a well kept and secure home for his children. In 1987, he married the love of his life, Sara, who would be his loving companion and soulmate for the rest of his life. In 1991, Sara would give birth to his beloved daughter Maricruz, who was the apple of his eye. Salvador was a kind and gentle man, who loved and was loved by all. He is one of the hardest workers who has ever graced this green earth and he did all for his family, which he loved with a love that was too great for most men. He is so cherished and will be missed by so many, but we are confident that, even now, he lives on in the presence of the Lord Jesus, where he waits to be reunited with his beloved family. Salvador is preceded in death by his parents Casimiro and Maria Cruz, as well as his brothers Raul and Jose, and his sisters Maria, Jesus, Antonia, and Elvira. He is survived by his wife Sara, his sons Tom and Mark, his daughter Maricruz, his grandsons Xander, Roman, and Aziah, his sister Belen and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom love him so much. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, this Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Siskiyou Memorial Park. Salvador naci en El Caracol de Casimiro y Maria Cruz Velasco el 1 de junio de 1951. Era un hijo carioso y fiel, que trabaj duro cuidando los animales de su padre en el rancho, hasta que lleg a los Estados Unidos a los 19 aos. Tal como lo hizo en su juventud, trabaj duro y durante largas horas para ganar suficiente dinero para cuidar de su padre y sus hermanas que an vivan en Mxico, as como de la joven familia que haba formado en los Estados Unidos. En 1987, se cas con el amor de su vida, Sara, quien sera su amorosa compaera y alma gemela por el resto de su vida. En 1991, Sara dio a luz a su amada hija Maricruz, quien era la nia de sus ojos. Salvador era un hombre amable y gentil, que amaba y era amado por todos. Es uno de los trabajadores ms duros que jams haya honrado esta tierra verde. l hizo todo por su familia, a la que amaba con un amor que era demasiado grande para la mayora de los hombres. Continuar siendo muy querido y ser extraado por muchos, pero estamos seguros de que, incluso ahora, vive en la presencia del Seor Jess, donde espera reunirse con su amada familia. A Salvador le anteceden en la muerte sus padres Casimiro y Mara Cruz, as como sus hermanos Ral y Jos, y sus hermanas Mara, Jess, Antonia y Elvira. Le sobreviven su esposa Sara, sus hijos Tom y Mark, su hija Maricruz, sus nietos Xander, Roman y Aziah, su hermana Beln y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos, todos los cuales lo aman tanto.
