Thomas Lee Abernathy was born on December 1st, 1930 in Inglewood, California. He was one of 11 children and the youngest boy. He grew up on a farm during the Great Depression. He was "Dad," to so many people including friends, cousins and to many younger nephews and nieces. He was a Korean War veteran, decorated with three medals of service, a retired Los Angeles County Sheriff, a retired Taco Bell franchise owner, and restaurant owner and operator. He leaves behind his wife Donna, two daughters Nancy and Jo, his son Tom, grandsons Marco, Gianni, and Charlie. And his granddaughter Olivia. He was very loved, and will be missed by so many.
