Obituary

Victor James Stubbe, known affectionately as Vic, passed away suddenly on April 9, 2024, in Medford, Oregon, at the hospital after a brief illness. Born on October 8, 2010, in Temecula, California, Vic's mature wisdom and snarky wit entertained and impressed all who knew him. Though his time on earth was brief, his impact was profound and lasting.

Vic was the cherished son of Elias Stubbe and Susan Nash. His role as a big brother to Maddox, Maverick, Stella, and Rocco was one he took to heart, always striving to be the best role model and friend. Vic's family was his fortress, including many loving aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents, all of whom were blessed to be part of his life.

Educated at home, Vic's curiosity and intelligence shone brightly. He approached learning with the same brilliant spark he brought to every aspect of his life. His family and friends nurtured his mind and spirit, instilling in him values that he carried with him always.

Vic's passions were skateboarding and video games, pursuits that not only provided him endless hours of fun but also a community of friends who shared his interests.

Those who knew Vic understood that his heart was as big as his smile (and he just barely got his braces off, what a beautiful smile it was!). He leaves behind a huge group of friends who miss him dearly. He was also often described as the best big brother on earth, always ready for a game, a word of encouragement, or a playful challenge (he was also quite a prankster!). His siblings looked up to him, not only for the fun they shared but also for the unwavering support, protection and loyalty he provided.

In the words of Albert Einstein, "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." Vic embodied this sentiment through his selfless love and dedication to his family and friends. His life, though short, was indeed a worthwhile one, marked by the joy he brought to others and the love he received in return.

The memory of Vic will be cherished and kept alive by those who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. Vic's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the pure joy of being in the moment. Victor's unexpected death reminds us that every day should be treasured, as we never know how much time we have left.

As we say goodbye to Victor James Stubbe, we take solace in knowing that his journey was filled with happiness and fun. Though he has departed from this world, his light remains—a beacon of hope and a reminder to cherish every precious moment we have with one another.

Vic's family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. The memories shared with Vic will be treasured forever, as he lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
