William "Billy" Corosu

July 19, 1947 — October 8, 2018

William "Billy" Corosu, age 71, died 10/07/2018 at Rogue Regional Medical Center after a long battle with pulmonary hypertension. Billy is survived by his wife Laura Corosu (Sundquist), they were married for 39 years. He is also survived by his two children: Tony Corosu and Theresa Demaggio. His mother: Jaqueline Hossu (Callard), and his two sisters: Jody Wilson and Cathy Glynn. He also left behind six grandchildren, Mikey Bailey, Brydon Corosu, Sean Corosu, Julia Corosu, Anika Demaggio, and James Demaggio. Billy is preceded in death by his father John Corosu. William is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. He was born in Paris, France on 07/19/1947. He migrated to the United States when he was 2 years old and he grew up in Glendale, California. He moved to Medford, Oregon in 1975. He graduated from Glendale High School and worked at Veterans Administration at SORCC in White City, Oregon for 29 years. He was a professional, committed, and selfless employee. His dedication, diligence and caring attitude improved the lives of Veterans and enhanced the morale of those who worked with him. Billy was a longtime model train enthusiast and loved to garden. The patriarch of the family has left behind hope, love, and promise for our Corosu name to carry on for generations to come.
