IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Zackary William
Walls
January 9, 1988 – April 18, 2024
Zackary William Walls Kruger, known to all as Zack, went on to life's next adventure beyond this world on April 18, 2024, at the age of only 36.
Born on January 9, 1988 at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton Washington, Zack was adventurous from early age. He could take a mundane Monday and turn it into a blowout concert event. His innate ability to find humor in everything set the stage for a life that would be anything but ordinary. The world became his stage, and he took on every role with gusto, from fearless firefighter to a down-to-earth farmer. To a soulful poet, singer, songwriter, and musician. But most of all, Zack was a fighter in life—a good friend and a giver, with a heart as big as the universe. His friends meant so much to him, this ever-present support crew on this wild ride called life.
Zack was a loving son to Keith and Tracey Kruger and his stepdad, Dan Giddings, who is always a good drinking buddy. A loving brother to Annalee Kruger Avalos, who she could always count on to drive her crazy and make her laugh at the same time. He was the brother-in-law who loved to hang out with Blas Avalos. The grandson to Merrylee Kruger, who loved him. Aunt Nita Kruger who held him and loved him at first sight.
Education for Zack was not confined to the walls of a classroom. His curriculum was life, and he graduated with honors in the art of living fully. He wore many hats—literally and figuratively—and each one was a testament to his many talents and the joy he brought to those around him. Zack's interests were as eclectic as his wardrobe!! He would cook for friends and family, loved to play his guitar…Whatever life threw at him, Zack was fighter!!!
Let's remember him with a quote from the legendary Robin Williams: "You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." Zack certainly never lost his spark; in fact, he used it to light up the lives of everyone he met. So, let's have drink, sing off-key, draw outside the lines, and embrace the madness—the Zack way. For that is the ultimate tribute to a man who lived and laughed with his whole heart, teaching us all that life, indeed, is the grandest stage.
