Margaret (Margie) Elizabeth Andres October 26, 1940- January 14, 2020
Margaret, lovingly called Margie, (Johnson) Andres peacefully went to be with her Lord on January 14, 2020. She was born on October 26, 1940 in Chico, CA, and is survived by her son Christopher (Alina) Andres of Petaluma California, and her grandsons Skyler, Gavin and Thomas, and great-grandson Zeke. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dori, grandson Jordan, and great-grandson Hunter.
Margie graduated with a double major in Chemistry and Biology from Pasadena College (now Point Loma Nazarene University). She became a medical technologist and later went on to get her Teaching Credential and taught Jr. High math and science.
She married Al Andres in 1964 and they were active in Pasadena Nazarene church, and eventually settled in Petaluma, California, where they raised their two children.
After the death of her daughter Dori, she dedicated her life to raising her two grandsons Jordan and Skyler in Petaluma and later in Medford, Oregon. Margie loved to laugh, go boating, fishing, camping and hiking. She spend her last active years working as a senior/elderly care-giver and was loved by many. Even during her last years of suffering from dementia, Margie never lost her sense of humor. We know she is sharing a good joke with Jesus in Heaven, whom she loved dearly all of her life.
Margie's friends and family also wish to thank Janet and all of Margie's wonderful caregivers who lovingly cared for her during her last years of life.
